The free quiz

Taking the quiz, reading your complete result and creating a sharing card require no account or payment. The quiz does not ask for your name, email address or payment information.

Progress on your device

Your browser stores your selected answers, current question, content versions, a random session identifier and timestamps so you can continue an unfinished quiz. Progress expires after seven days. Starting again or clearing this site's browser data removes progress on that device. English and Chinese progress are stored separately.

If browser storage is unavailable, you can still finish on the current page, but you may not be able to resume after closing it.

Results on our server

When you submit, the server receives your answers to calculate the result. Its internal result record stores random result and session identifiers, an answer digest, character similarities, result text, limited explanation references, content versions and a creation time. The public result exposes the character scores and explanation, not the session identifier, digest or full answer sheet.

If you submit with the private credential generated by your browser, the full sixteen answers are saved in a separate private record. Only a digest of that credential is stored on the server; your browser keeps the original. Public result pages and sharing images do not expose the complete answer sheet.

Saved results and sharing images remain available until the operator removes historical data or ends the service. Clearing local progress does not delete a result already saved on the server.

Sharing links

Each result has a random, unlisted link. Anyone with that link can view the result and sharing images without signing in. Result pages do not contain the full answer sheet and are excluded from the sitemap. Share a result link only when you are comfortable making that result visible.

Technical records and preferences

Operating the service may produce basic access and error logs. The submission endpoint briefly uses the source address for rate limiting. If the operator enables analytics, quiz events record actions such as starting, completing or sharing a quiz, rather than full answer selections, names or email addresses.

Language or interface preferences may be stored in browser cookies. Administrative account and login data serve site management; ordinary quiz users do not need an account.

Optional paid reports

The complete quiz result remains free. Waffo Pancake hosts optional report checkout and handles email, billing region and payment details. This site does not receive card numbers or security codes. It stores result associations, purchase identifiers, credential digests, product and price snapshots, currency, environment, verified status and report content. The provider receives order references, not complete quiz answers or recovery credentials.

Recovery information is kept in the browser, with a cookie scoped to report endpoints when needed. Sharing a free result does not reveal the private paid report. Anyone holding a recovery link can open the report, so keep that link and your downloaded report private. If you clear browser data and lose the recovery link, automatic recovery may not be possible.

Private answers and AI-generated reports

Submitting the quiz with its private answer-owner credential stores the complete 16-question answer sheet in a separate, private record, together with its content versions and a digest of the credential. Public results and sharing cards do not reveal this answer sheet. The credential is kept in your browser and is required to buy a new AI report for that answer sheet; a public result link alone does not grant that permission.

After verified payment, generating a report sends the selected answers, fixed scores and content versions to the report AI service configured by the site operator. It does not send card information, purchase recovery credentials or the answer-owner credential to the AI service. The report is generated in the selected language and saved for later access; downloading a saved report does not trigger a new AI request. Choosing another report language creates and saves a separate language version.

Private answers, reports and downloads are retained to support report access and recovery. Clearing browser data does not delete saved server records. Older results without a complete answer sheet are not reconstructed by AI; existing saved reports remain available under their original access rules.

Advertising and updates

Advertising is currently not configured. If an advertising service is added, this policy will be updated to explain its data handling. The policy's update date appears above. See the terms of service for the service and payment conditions.

Your data rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete records relating to you by emailing the support address below with the relevant result or order identifier and the action requested. We will verify that the records belong to you before disclosing or changing private information; do not email payment card details or private recovery credentials. We normally respond within 30 days, or sooner when applicable law requires it. If a legally permitted extension is needed, we will explain its reason and deadline.

The public quiz requires no account to close. Starting again or clearing site data removes local progress; a separate deletion request is needed for server records. You can also request to close an administrative account through the support address. We will remove or de-identify eligible records and explain any legal retention requirements, including records needed for payment disputes or fraud prevention. Rights relating to checkout information held by Waffo Pancake can also be exercised through that provider.
